VoodooWitchy was “born” before Katrina struck New Orleans on the train called

City of New Orleans. A party train to Mardi Gras where new friendships were

easily made and old friendships quickly renewed. Such a grand time we all had,

little did we know but in a few short years the city we loved so much would be

devastated. Always fascinated with the history of New Orleans, many of us

relished in telling stories of the Witch Queen of New Orleans – Marie LaVeau.

Someone teasingly tossed out the name “voodoowitchy” and it fit... perfectly.

rolled your eyes. But its true. Mardi Gras is such a festive time and who didn't love
